Below is an update from RMC on the progress at Carnelian Woods as of 4/18/25. The primary remaining task is balcony repairs.
- Began demolition on units and are waiting for engineering details for the attachment of hardware. We moved forward on additional units because they needed to be opened up to see the attachment detail, as certain walls were unknown as to what that looked like inside the wall.
- Engineer has provided one of the details and we are expecting the final one on Monday.
- Additionally, the County requires specially coated hardware for these applications and we have ordered them. Expecting them to arrive first of the week so that we can continue with installation.
Additionally, the inspection of the chimney repair on 42 was not complete. The building was originally constructed with the chimney not as high as the original plans, so the chimney will need to be extended by about two feet to match the plans.
