Below is an update from RMC on the progress at Carnelian Woods as of 8/30.
- Roofing crews are continuing with roofing. It is taking a little longer than expected. They plan to complete the bottom buildings by Wednesday next week, then move to the top section. The roofer will work through 9/7 and then have to take a few days off if not completed. We will see where he is at the end of next week.
- Minor balcony trim issues with units 46, 50, 56, 64, 71, 112, and 129 will be completed over the weekend.
Below is an update from Bryan Cho, the engineer selected by Farmers Insurance to design the balcony repairs.
- Balcony repairs for units 23, 24, 54, 73, 108, 111, 113, and 137 require engineering, drawings and building permits. Earliest likely construction start time is mid November if the time to get permits is no more than six weeks. Completion this year is entirely dependent on the building department and the weather.
