Below is an update from RMC on the progress at Carnelian Woods as of 6/7.
- All windows installed except for unit 133, and any affected siding and drywall repaired. Siding has been painted but drywall will not be painted as the insurance policy does not cover interior paint.
- Received a message from the window supplier that unit 133 window will arrive around 7/17. Provided this info to Janessa and we will schedule with the homeowner upon receipt of the window.
- Crews are replacing necessary dryer vents on the exterior per scope of work. They are about ½ way done and have approximately 15 remaining.
- Roofing crews began demolition on some roofing around unit 42 and other areas. They will be doing the demo on/off for the next few weeks in order to provide measurements to the manufacturer. All areas removed will be dried-in to ensure roofs are protected. We met with Placer County Building department to inspect our repairs and they are satisfied with our process at this time.
- Once the dryer vents are completed the only work taking place will be the roofing demo until we get plans for the affected deck repairs and the roofing material arrives. RMC does not have an ETA yet for the roofing materials.
- The two lifts are parked at the lodge and are to be picked up by United Rentals any day. The storage bin will be used to store materials by the roofer for the time being.
