What We Do:
The Bylaws Committee works to update the operating documents of the association including the bylaws; covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs); and the articles of incorporation. The laws governing HOAs change over time, as do the operations of the association, so that these documents need to be updated periodically to reflect the legal requirements and need of the association.
While changes in law generally supersede the operating documents, when too many differences exist it becomes difficult to use the documents and know the correct interpretation. Periodic revision then becomes necessary.
