With the dryer weather we were able to complete the 3.5 acres of pile burning on Carnelian Woods property this week. This completes the 78-acre project that began in 2022 with hand thinning.
Carnelian Woods now owns 78 acres of healthy forest that can better serve as a fire break if/when needed.
Thank you to everyone that helped with notifications, and thank you for any patience exercised regarding smoke. It is a necessary nuisance that we must tolerate while we work to better protect our homes from the threat of wildfire and promote healthy forests.
